PlainID Platform - December 2025 Release
The December 2025 version release of the Platform includes product enhancements, UI/UX updates, and bug fixes.
Policy 360° - Vendor Compare
The new Vendor Compare feature introduces a visual interface for comparing and aligning Policies within the Authorization Workspace in the vendor language. This simplifies Policy management, helps maintain alignment between systems with minimal effort, and enhances security by highlighting protected objects, connections, and Policy Discrepancies.
Key Features include:
Visual Policy Comparison: Instantly compare Platform and vendor policies side by side.
Smart Reconciliation: Detect differences and apply or override changes with one click.
Full control: Have full visibility and control across distributed Authorization Environments.
This feature is available for SaaS Authorization Management (Orchestration) and requires Authorization Workspace Admin permissions.
Mapper Sets
The new Identity Mapper Set provides a unified way to translate logical Attributes into the physical values required during enforcement. It separates logical Templates from physical mappings, allowing multiple Applications to reuse the same logical structure while applying their own Scope-specific mappings. Mapper Sets are available in the Platform or through dedicated API requests.
Key Benefits
Consistency and Flexibility: Unified handling of Virtual and External mappings across all Identity Templates.
Context-Aware Mapping: Scopes dynamically resolve the appropriate physical mappings without duplicating logical Templates.
Operational Efficiency: Reusable Mapper Sets reduce maintenance overhead and simplify Application onboarding.
Orchestration
Orchestration now leverages the Mapper Set infrastructure to unify Identity Discovery across multiple Sources, enabling different physical structures to map easily into the same logical Attributes. This enhancement improves visibility and streamlines Policy authoring by allowing reusable logical Attributes across POPs and vendors.
Policy Authorization Agent (PAA)
This release includes security enhancements for the PAA.
