Authorization Platform - August 2023 Release

The August 2023 version release of the Authorization Platform includes new APIs, UI/UX improvements, security features, and additional enhancements.

What’s New

As part of our Management API expansion, this release includes two new sets of APIs:

Management APIs for Supporting External Procedures

New APIs are now available to support interfacing with external procedures such as Certification processes or Reporting. These APIs allow users to:

• GET List of Applications per Environment

• GET List of Policies per Application

Admin Audit APIs

• A new Admin API is now available to support customers that want to collect Admin Audit events and process them with their local tools (SIEM/DB) for reporting and governance. The new API allows fetching Audit events as a standard data object based on time periods and other filters.

Authorizer Enhancements

Apigee Authorizer

• The updated Apigee Authorizer expands compatibility and simplifies integration to provide flexibility for users. Users can set the character case for the Authorization header keys and values as uppercase or lowercase without requiring changes in different Applications.

Delegated Authorization Management

Revamped UI for the Delegated Admin Console.

Policy Authorization Agent (PAA)

This release includes security enhancements for the Policy Authorization Agent.
