Authorization Platform - December 18th Release
The December 18th 2023 version release of the Authorization Platform includes new features and product enhancements.
What’s New?
Multiple Identity Workspaces
PlainID is happy to introduce Multiple Identity Workspaces, a new addition to the Authorization Platform. Organizations manage various Identity types, like employees, customers, partners. These Identity types typically have their own information sources, in addition to being managed separately and overseen by different personnel.
This feature is designed to meet the diverse needs of organizations by enabling them to effectively manage multiple Identity types within a unified Environment. Key features include:
Managing Multiple Identity Types
Organizations can connect and manage a variety of Identity types in different Workspaces, adding an extra layer of protection to sensitive Identity-related Policies and safeguarding organizations against unauthorized access or modifications.
Granular Management Control
Businesses can establish tailored Identity Workspaces for different Identity definitions. They can utilize a separation of duties when managing Identity objects to serve different teams or business units.
Product Updates
PowerBI Authorizer
Users can now manage Policies within PlainID and deploy them to the PowerBI service. This capability empowers users to deploy changes and create new Policies directly from PlainID to PowerBI, maintaining consistency across all platforms.
This capability is designed to be user-friendly using PlainID’s intuitive UI, facilitating the deployment of changes and new Policies from PlainID to PowerBI. This ensures that updates are promptly reflected in both systems, maintaining real-time consistency.
Application Logo on the Policy Map
Users can now set and view their Application logos on the Policy Map, providing a more visually contextual interface.
We're happy to hear about your experiences with these new features and look forward to hearing more about what you want to see in the Authorization Platform.
