Authorization Platform - May 2023 Release

The May 2023 version release of the Authorization Platform includes PAA and Authorizer enhancements, UI improvements, and bug fixes.

What's New

Users can now view Release Notes and Feature Focuses by selecting the following icon located on the top right corner of the Platform:

Stay informed with all the important updates and enhancements all in one place.

Product Enhancements

Authorizers
Updated versions with security enhancements and bug fixes are available for the Apigee, Istio, and Google BigQuery authorizers.

  • Apigee now supports JWT authentication when accessing the runtime. This enhances security while allowing users to use PlainID's PDP capabilities to authenticate and validate the Authorizer Policy Decision request JWT.

Policy Authorization Agent (PAA)

This release includes security enhancements for the Policy Authorization Agent.

For upgrade instructions for the PAA and Authorizers, refer to the Admin Portal at docs.plainid.io.
