Authorization Platform - September 2023 Release

The September 2023 version release of the Authorization Platform includes enhancements, UI/UX improvements, and bug fixes.

What’s New?

Multiple Authorization Workspaces

Users can utilize the Authorization Workspace to manage Policies and Authorization objects. PlainID now supports the ability to manage multiple Authorization Workspaces within a single Environment. This allows users to:

• Support a separation of duties in managing Policies and Authorization objects within their organizations to not only to serve different teams or business units, but also have the ability to separate Policy management by domain .

• Provide permissions for Admins or Viewers per workspace based on the business need.

PAA and PIP Segregated Management

Environment Admins can now oversee completely separate PAAs and PIP Settings between Environments. This new capability allows for a more granular segregation of duties, allowing Environment Admins to create and configure PAA or PIP settings for their specific Environment - without impacting other Environments or requiring Tenant Admin permissions. Additionally, they can manage global PIPs and PAAs that span multiple Environments.

Product Updates

Enhanced Visibility for Assets and Identities
The PAP now supports setting a custom logo for Asset Types and Identity Sources to enhance ease of use.

Google Big Query Authorizer

This release includes security enhancements for the Google Big Query Authorizer.
