Feature Focus - Using External Identity Sources

Identity Aware Access Decision requires a complete and accurate understanding of the user’s identity.

The ability to use information from external sources allows to easily expand the information used for access calculation not only to that available on the application level, but also to the available on the organization level - to provide a full and accurate access decision.

The Authorization Platform now supports the ability to use external sources as identity information!

We can leverage a large variety of sources (like LDAP, REST, JDBC and many more), used in conjunction with identity information passed as part of the request and/or via JWT, to support any use case requiring identity aware access decision.
