PlainID Platform - June 29th 2025 Release
The June 29th 2025 version release of the Platform includes product enhancements, UI/UX updates, and bug fixes.
Databricks Authorizer
PlainID now supports Databricks POP generation in Learn Mode, enabling Databricks Masking and Row-Level Security Policy discovery via Policy Orchestration. This streamlines data access control and enhances Policy visibility in the Platform across your technology stack.
Snowflake Authorizer
PlainID now supports Snowflake Column Masking Policy discovery and management, expanding use cases and delivering more comprehensive visibility and granular policy control.
SaaS Authorization Management
Two new POP endpoints are now available for improved integration:
Retrieve Vendor Policy IDs: Fetch the list of vendor Policy IDs associated with a specific POP, enabling better visibility and tracking.
Deploy Single Policy: Deploy an individual Policy to the vendor through the POP, allowing more targeted and controlled policy updates.
Cache Invalidation Endpoints for the PDP
Expanded PDP Cache usage flexibility for better performance that is balanced with Authorization data freshness by introducing two new PDP Administrative endpoints, allowing users to control PDP Cache Invalidation.
Azure Key Vault Integration
Increased integration security with an expansion to the PlainID Secrets Management Service, which now supports integration with Azure Key Vault (AKV) and utilizes PIP Data Source credentials, Redis connections, and other supported flows.
Azure CosmosDB Integration
Added support for Azure CosmosDB integration in the PIP REST Adapter.
Event Handling and Key Distribution
Optimized event-based key distribution between the Platform and PAA to improve stability and resilience.
Policy Authorization Agent (PAA)
This release includes security enhancements for the PAA.
