The March 2026 Platform release includes product enhancements, UI/UX updates, and bug fixes.


Runtime (PDP)

The Runtime now supports Authorization decision for the Agentic era with Policy evaluation across multiple Identities, whether human or non-human. The Policy evaluation is performed on the combined logic and rules of each Identity considering the relationships derived from Policies.

Authorizers

  • Access File Authorizer: The Authorizer now integrates with the PlainID Secret Management (SM) service, enabling secure credential usage through Secret Keys. Additional enhancements include improved PDP request authentication, greater PDP request flexibility, and an enhanced debug mode that supports stepped job execution.

  • SQL Database Authorizer: The Authorizer now provides greater flexibility when executing Authorization requests by supporting additional Runtime parameter control using the runtimeFineTune parameter. This enhancement enables the Authorizer to align more closely with standard Runtime evaluation behavior.

  • Snowflake and Databricks: Users can now use functions as Actions and apply them directly as masking instructions within Policies, making it easier to define and reuse masking behavior.

  • LangChain: PlainID now supports SQL integration for LangChain through a dedicated library, making it easier to connect Authorization logic with LangChain-based applications. This simplifies adoption and helps teams enforce consistent access control across AI-driven workflows.
