PlainID Platform - October 2026 Release
The October 2026 Platform release includes product enhancements, UI/UX updates, and bug fixes.
AI Gateway Discovery and Enforcement
PlainID has released a new AI Gateway Discovery and Enforcement pattern with Authorizers for Kong and MS Azure API Management.
PlainID integrates directly into the existing gateway traffic path, providing a low-friction way to discover and govern AI interactions using the infrastructure already handling LLM, MCP, and API traffic. It analyzes AI traffic in real time to identify MCP tools and relevant AI interactions as they pass through the gateway.
No separate discovery agent, sidecar, or service deployment is required in the customer environment.
Policy Authoring
Policy Canvas is a new visual and interactive authoring experience that is now available alongside the existing Wizard, making complex logic easier to create and understand.
Note: Refer to the documentation to read about the relevant use cases.

Agentic AI
In the Policy Canvas, users can now associate a Template’s Actions when configuring parameter-based filters for MCP Controls, for more precise control over agent behavior.
